Messing around with the Aiptek A-HD while watching the Warriors.

The video was taken using the Aiptek A-HD hybrid cam. It’s a SD flash based camera.
Grabbed it for $130 some months ago.
It can record up to 720P (1280×720) video using the h.264 codec. Photos are 5MP.

I wanted to test recording using the low resolution mode (352×240).
Hoping Utterz will take in h.264 video files and use the correct aspect ratio.

I figure it might be easier to record using low resolution mode so I can easily upload the smaller raw clips straight to Utterz.

UPDATE: Hooray it worked. Aspect ratio came out correct as well. Tried the same test using blip.tv and the flash video they produced didn’t come out with the correct aspect ratio.

This was from last Friday. Just took a cruise to the beach to see if a storm was coming.

Thought I’d try something new.
Here I will be using the Fujitsu U810 connected via WiFi to demonstrate a live ink blog post.
I will be using ManyCams which is basically a free version of WebCamMax for the PC or CamTwist for the Mac. It has basic features such as titling and effects but also has the ability to use photos or a desktop as a webcam source which I will be using.
