RAM Mount cradle for the Samsung Q1 Video

Here it is. I received the RAM Mount cradle from GPS City yesterday. I put together a video to show it off.

    Thanks for posting that video! How “easy” is it to take the Q1 out of the cradle? From the video, it looks like you might have to sort of force it out of there.

    Hey thanks a lot. It’s actually a lot easier to remove. Just lift the top hook a bit and it comes right out.

    How about GPS? Are you using a USB GPS unit? Car charger as well?

    I’m using the Wintec Bluetooth GPS receiver mentioned here

    I do have the Samsung car charger but I seldom use it since I don’t usually make long trips. I have to rewire the ground from the cigarette lighter since using the car charger creates groud-loop noise in the stereo.
