USB Hardware h264 Encoder
This is pretty neat if it works.
If you ever tried to convert a DVD or any video to an iPod/PSP compatible h264 video, you’ll know it takes forever.
Here’s a USB stick that has a h264 encoder chip in it to make the whole process a lot faster.
According to the site, it would normally take 5 hours to encode a 100 minute DVD movie to an iPod video. With this device, it’ll take 20 minutes.

Online Karaoke
I found an interesting site today.

It’s an online community sort of like youtube. But instead of videos, it’s karaoke!
You record songs straight to the site with a flash interface. All you need is a mic.
After pressing the record button on the song of choice, all you have to do is sing along to the words like a normal karaoke machine.
Your recording will then be added to your list of recordings and will be available for the entire world to hear.
Members can then rate or leave feedback on your performance.
It seems there are a lot of songs. I will most likely try it out after some beers.

New stuff
So I’ve been researching a bag to hold my Samsung Q1 tablet and all my other gadgets for a while now.
I looked into many, many bags costing up to $250 or so.
After many hours of research, I finally decided on one. I just placed the order and hopefully it’ll be on its way soon.
I also bought this for work.
