GI Joe Fishing Backpack

Posted in All at 4:20 pm by Rodfather

So I went to Big 5 last Saturday to get more fishing supplies. I was also trying to find a good backpack for fishing. Most of the packs they had there were normal backpacks or the small ones for biking with the water tube sticking out.

There was one backpack that was perfect for my needs. The GI Joe Kids Backpack Fishing Combo.

It even comes with a retractable fishing pole that hooks in on the side. On the outside, there are 2 plastic containers where you can stick all your bait, hooks, and sinkers, etc..

I didn’t end up getting it but I think I’ll go back and see if it’s still there.

Here is the next place I’m going to try to fish at. One of the parents who was at the Salinas Obon said he caught around 24 strippers there so far. It’s a bit north of Marina and is known as the ‘long walk’ since it takes so damn long to get there.

You can see there’s an outline of an old abandoned ship.

I think you have to park here first.

So by eyeing it, it looks to be about a 2 miles walk to get to the spot. The old dude said he brings a bike. I wonder where he locks it when he gets to the shore.

This is pretty neat and easy to do. You can use it as a card holder/wallet too.

Canon High Def Camcorder

This is sweet. The last few years, there were only Sony consumer HD camcorders. This one will record at full 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and retail for $1300.
