Anyday now.
Here’s some useful info on fetal development in 9 months.
I searched iTunes and it looks like this site is on the podcast directory.
Check it out.

Since it’s Summer, I felt it’s a good time to go fishing. It doesn’t get dark around here until around 9PM so thought it would be nice to do some fishing right after work. For now, I’m going to try to get used to surf fishing for perch.
I went over to Big 5 with Brian on Tues and picked up a pole & reel. I have a bunch of poles at home, but decided to get a new one since the reel I had was kind of torn up. I have all the other gear I could ever need. I searched through the garage and found all of my dad’s old fishing stuff.
The line that came with my reel is kind of light. I’ll probably replace it with a 10 lb line.
I didn’t get a bite at all that night. We were only out there for about 45 minutes and most of that time was just setting up.
I had an El Frijolito burrito last weekend. I probably haven’t had one of these in about 10 years. It’s still one of the best burritos in town. Hector’s Bakery uses home-made tortillas, but El Frijolito’s have much better juice.
I had to go to San Jose today to pay off a ticket. On the way up, around the old Santa’s Village, where the forest starts on highway 17, there was an accident in which I hear later on the radio, someone was air lifted to the hospital. In the slow mo shot, there was someone in a stretcher. On the radio it said the person was most likely fatigued and veered into the center divider, then hitting another car driving northbound.
There were a lot of people standing outside of their cars in the traffic jam. Nobody was going anywhere and it was way hot. Most of the people were probably heading to the beach.
Watsonville seems like has always been a budweiser town. There’s that one off the 1. I always saw the workers with a 6 pack of budweiser sitting on top of their cars after work. At BBQ’s, it was usually bud there.
When I came back, it was all Coors light. I never really cared whatever beer I was drinking but Coors light was ok since it wasn’t too filling. At the bowling alley, it’s always Coors light, draft.
I found out why tonight.
Ok I changed the site again. This is now phonyholmes.com. Having cussing in the URL might limit how far I can go in distributing this blog. Especially when it comes with getting in the iTunes podcast directory. ![]()
Plus, shit, it’s phony holmes.
phony.
I love the New Leaf market near my work. They have this huge wall dedicated to scooping a mass variety of oats, candy, cereals, and dried fruits into bags which are then weighed at the counter. One of the employees rolled on through and refilled the dried mangos. I just had to try them. So good.
I’ve always thought those cutout templates from Japan were cool but here’s an interesting origami of Yoda.
